Playing Bingo and Beetle is a great way to build your new vocabulary – and it’s much more fun in a group. More importantly, when you learn Spanish or French in Blackpool in a group setting, you benefit from peer learning; i.e. you learn from each other as well as from me.
In groups, if you need help, I’ll invite you to “phone a friend” or “ask the audience” rather than simply ask me. This lets everyone develop and demonstrate their knowledge, which in turn leads to increased confidence in the target language. It also tells me that learning has taken place.
Group work turns French or Spanish classes in Blackpool into a social exercise. Learn as a group of friends. Or if you are new to the area, it’s a great way to meet new people.
